What is the cost of being "beautiful" is a post-industrial era? Is size zero acceptable at the cost of anorexia, bulimia and other eating disorders? How do we perceive our packaging - the packaging of our bodies?

This corset is a sculpture that reflects upon how acceptable "skinny" is in our society, and the price that young women pay in order to achieve that coveted mannequin body. Made using salvaged industrial scrap materials, the corset features sharp, unfinished wire mesh edges, and a belt with sharp-edged washers will harm the wearer, making it unwearable and harmful.
